Clients first contacted us with a (very) well-articulated first vision: To assemble an engaging indoor playground that showcases a playground jungle theme, durable for high traffic, and adheres to strict New Zealand safety regulations. However, they confronted several challenges:

Dreamland Playground's Full Turnkey Solution - Concept to Operation

Dreamland Playground offers turnkey services that include making customers' vision come to life with operational indoor playgrounds.Once the design is complete, Dreamland Playground takes care of everything involved in the process, such as equipment construction, international shipping, quality check, and operational supervision, which takes a lot of pressure off the customers. Rock Climbing Walls

Designed to introduce children to vertical play while complying with AS/NZS regulations, Jago Town's rock climbing facility is unique. There are walls of different levels of difficulty so younger and older children can engage with the facility. To mitigate the risk of injury, Dreamland engineered the walls with climbing holds and reinforced panels, and the flooring with impact-absorbing materials. To mitigate the risk of children getting lost, the children are able to climb the walls to guide children toward individual climbing paths with colorful graphics. The walls are able to be climbed multiple times. It is also able to develop and strengthen upper body coordination, balance, and confidence. It is both a developmental and physical activity. No harnesses are required to climb the walls because the walls are of a low height, and the facility complies with the standards concerning fall heights. This design allows for a climbing facility that is able to attract a high number of visitors and requires low operational costs, making it a valuable addition to the playground.

Themed Soft-Play Zones

The soft-play areas are designed for toddlers and preschool-aged children. The areas and play equipment are made using high-density foam, anti-microbial, and rounded PVC materials to reduce injuries and allow children to move freely. The areas include jungle jungle characters, tunnels, balance pads, and sensory panels to stimulate and support development. The design of the areas allows caregivers to see all of the activities and stations to lessen the number of children at each play zone. The soft-play areas are compliant as required by the AS/NZS play-surface standard, such as secure anchoring, anti-slip flooring, and soft impact edging. The soft play areas allow the operators to absorb a high number of children with little impact on the equipment. The design also encourages imaginative play, crawling, and climbing. Multi-Level Climbing Structures

The climbing structure is the main attraction at Jago Town. It is designed for rigorous use with safety. The vertical space is designed with tunnels, climbing ropes, obstacle courses, and viewing areas. The multi-level design is optimized for circulation to keep the tower busy with pedestrians. The structure is made from commercial-grade galvanized steel, fire-resistant netting, and high-compression foam for high-impact areas. Safety is ensured with enclosed netted platforms across the vertical space and anti-fall netting with cushioned ground below. It is the locale for active climbing, which helps with the development of coordination and motor skills. It will increase foot traffic to the business and provide amenities to the public. The slides are available in straight, wavy, or tube designs and help create a seamless connection among the multi-level structures. Features of the giant slide designed for safety are the enclosed sliding tube walls, exit lane control gates, and spaced padded landings to slow down sliders.
